Komen Foundation Defunds Planned Parenthood!

Well it's about time.

Planned Parenthood never even provided mamograms to women according to undercover audio recorded by Live Action.

Furthermore, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, one of the recipients of Komen money in the past, doesn't need the money. They have $36 million in the bank (according to their 2006 tax filings). Planned Parenthood of Central Washington has $7 million in the bank.

Maybe now is the time they could dip into their own bank account and start helping the poor who need mamograms.

Internal Documents Show Planned Parenthood Abortion Numbers Skyrocket

As the national debate over ending government funding of Planned Parenthood assumes center stage, a move which we at AIW have been encouraging for several years, the abortion chain insists through its surrogates throughout the mainstream media that even though they're the country's largest perpetrator of premeditated murders in the form of abortion, their real interest and focus is on prevention.

But now we have obtained internal documents from Planned Parenthood of Central Washington (PPCW) that show the brutal truth.

Planned Parenthood Hiring Unlicensed, Illegal Nurses?

Just as Congress is trying to end federal funding to Planned Parenthood across the nation comes revelations that the Planned Parenthood affiliate in Central Washington has apparently been hiring unlicensed nurses.

This is the same Planned Parenthood which we exposed for having tried to force a teenager into an abortion, and then trying to stop a police officer from rescuing her by citing fictional laws.

In the course of reviewing other police reports involving this organization, we found one case where a large supply of fentanyl, a regulated pain narcotics used to reduce the physical pain during a first-trimester abortion, had gone missing from a locked cabinet. The police were called and an investigation conducted. During the course of the investigation most of the nursing staff at Planned Parenthood Kennewick were questioned, all of them being suspects originally.

We checked state medical licenses for each of the nurses listed and found two individuals in particular who did not have a nursing license at that time, yet were (at least according to what they told police) working as registered nurses for Planned Parenthood.

It's been a very intense two weeks in the fight against Planned Parenthood at the national and local level. And it's not about to simmer down anytime soon.

This week AIW has obtained new direct and damning evidence of crimes happening at Planned Parenthood centers in the state of Washington. Of course, women who've had abortions have known this all along. It's only now that the general public is learning the truth about the abortion industry's dirty secrets.

Readers can see in this Kennewick Police Department report how Planned Parenthood's employee Andrea Smasne holds a 22-week pregnant, 14-year-old girl hostage and refuses to return her to her father. Smasne also holds her so they can complete a referral to Seattle for a late term abortion. When the police arrive, Smasne even disobeys the police officer's order to return the girl to her father, telling him that "once a minor child is pregnant she is emancipated".

Here are the details in the words of the responding officer:

I then asked Smasne how old the patient was. She advised the female patient for 14yoa. I then asked why they would tell the father he had to leave if his juvenile age daughter was there. At that point Smasne stated that once the juvenile is pregnant, the juvenile is emancipated, and further stated the father had no right to be present if the patient did not want him there.

Funny thing but to our ears that sounds just like Rep. Eileen Cody in her "memo" to Rep. Matt Shea that a parental notification bill will not be heard by the Health and Wellness Committee because "over 14 once a girl is pregnant they are considered emancipated - independent."

But is this in fact the law of the state of Washington or another legal fiction developed by promoters of abortion?

Here's what City Attorney Eric Eisinger told the officer after he called about Planned Parenthood's "emancipation" claim,

Based on his research, a Juvenile is not emancipated simply by becoming pregnant. He stated becoming emancipated required a Court process. Eisinger further advised that unless employees of Planned Parenthood provided documentation from the Court indicating that [redacted] is/was emancipated, [redacted] would be required to go with her father [redacted]. I was also advised, if employees at Planned Parenthood could not provided the documentation and did not allow access to [redacted] to send her with father, I should proceed with a criminal investigation against the involved employees citing Custodial Interference Section 26.28 as the charge.

It gets worse.

We received word from a STOPPer in Walla Walla, Washington, that the local chamber of commerce is supporting Planned Parenthood’s intimidation campaign, Pledge-a-Protester, by carrying a story about the “success” of the campaign in the Chamber’s magazine, Valley Business News. Through Pledge-a-Protester, PP hopes to dissuade protestors and at the same time raise money for its failed programs, asking for contributions based on the number of protesters who show up at the PP facility.

Pasco Residents Show Up En Masse to Say NO to Planned Parenthood

Sunday, Oct 25, 2009 (Pasco) - Almost 700 residents of Pasco turned up this afternoon to send a strong and unequivocal message to the Pasco City Council: Say no to Planned Parenthood.

The council is deliberating an application from Planned Parenthood of Central Washington, an affiliate of the country's largest chain of abortion clinics, and central Washington's largest provider, to open up a new clinic in Pasco, next to Mark Twain Elementary School.

Planned Parenthood of Central Washington Dealt Another Blow: Kept Out of New Walla Walla Health Center

Just a day before being told to stay away from Pasco's schoolchildren, Planned Parenthood of Central Washington (PPCW) is whining again because someone else in Eastern Washington has had the guts to stand up to them and their cult of death and fraud and tell them to stay away from our children's schools.

This time it's a new health center in Walla Walla, called the Lincoln Health Center, next door to Lincoln Alternative High School. Owned by Providence St. Mary Medical Center, the health center terminated it's on-site partnership with PPCW last Thursday.

"We're not going to hand out little paper bags with condoms or have a fish bowl in the lobby where you can scoop and run," said Stan Ledington, board president of the new health center. "We don't want to be known as the place to get contraceptives, but as the place to get health care. Physical, mental, emotional care."

Ouch.

Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion industry in the country, and advocate and legal bully of completely unregulated abortion on demand at taxpayers' expense, still has a clinic three blocks away, which they claim doesn't do abortions. Critics argue that they provide abortion clinic referrals and biased and dishonest pregnancy counselling.

On PPCW's facebook page, they predictably complain that "thanks to religious doctrine, Planned Parenthood will not be providing much needed, no cost services to teens at the Lincoln Health Center in Walla Walla." The only services the teens will be missing will be "drive-by" contraception dispensers.
