From Russia with Love

I just came across this little line at the end of a letter the wonderful Dr. Ney in British Columbia sent to the editor of MacLean's Magazine (Canada) in March of 2006:
Without any prompting by me, the professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the University of Moscow sitting in his office told me, “Of all the experiences damaging the health of women in the Federation of Russia, there is nothing greater than abortion.

When will North American OB professors and doctors begin to speak the truth?

New State-wide Pro-Woman/Pro-Life Organization

From the web site.

Women First was formed to address the shortcomings in the ongoing pro-life vs. pro-choice debates. We contend that a new conversation is needed -- one that seeks common ground between the various viewpoints, and serves to bridge the differences by focusing on the health and welfare of women as a common goal.
Women First invites dialogue and discussion to bridge the gap by directing the focus towards helping women.
Women First is pro-woman and pro-life
Introductory Gathering -- Please join Women First for wine, cheese, and positive dialoge at the Women First introductory gathering. Adam Smith: Soft on Criminals, Tough on Women and Children

In this clip of U.S. Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) 9th District, you'll hear him from earlier this year attempt to explain his 100% pro-abortion voting record and 100% pro-abortion rating from NARAL because of the lack of "health exceptions" for the mother in the bills.

To watch this clip of Rep. Smith with his hangdog expression while knowing Smith's voting record is quite disturbing. Here is someone who has a 100% pro-abortion voting record from NARAL and has the nerve to say out loud, "I do not vote pro-abortion", "I don't like abortion", "I do not support it", calling abortion "a medical decision" and capping it off with "I am not pro-abortion". Why all the denials? If the shoe fits wear it Adam.

Basically, if it involves killing an embryo or fetus Adam Smith is all over it. Embryonic stem cell research? Sure. Go ahead and gut them. Kidnapping teens across state lines for abortions? Parents don't need to know that stuff! Partial Birth Abortion? Gosh, industry could sure use those body parts. He can't seem to do enough for abortion.

Here's the kicker -- Rep. Smith even voted AGAINST making it a crime to harm a fetus during the commission of another crime. Think Paul Richard Polanski. Think Connor Peterson. Not to mention the "health" of their mothers.

Charles Manson would have loved this guy.
